Tournaments And Draws
ADO Tournaments
The Queen City Darting Association hosts three Nationally Sanctioned (ADO) tournaments each calendar year.
New Year's Tournament — ($5,100.00 in Prize money) typically takes place on the first weekend in January and is usually the first ADO event of the year. Prize money for this event continues to grow!
Charlotte Open — ($15,000.00 to $25,000.00 in prize money) is the area's flagship event, and often draws the nations best competitors. The tournament is usually held around the second weekend in April. This was the site of the 2014 ADO Masters
Summer Shoot — ($2,500.00 in prize money) usually takes place in mid-July and a great way to take a break from the heat of summer.
Please check out the flyers for each event for information on location, entry fees, and local accommodations. We always do the best we can to secure reasonable room rates for those of you who travel in for these events.

The Martin Memorial 301 Shoot
The Martin Memorial Shoot is held in March of each year at Steamer's Sports Pub and pays tribute to the Martin Family, whose members were key in the founding organized darts in the Charlotte area. Members of the Martin Family come from all over the state to sponsor this event. This event has been running since 1990 and is a fantastic way to become in involved with darts for the following reasons:
- It is a one-day Singles 301 event and there is no entry fee.
- There are prizes and trophies for the winners.
- The family gives away a free t-shirt to each participant, commemorating the event.
- There is also a youth event so that even kids can participate.
It is a always a great event and gets better every year. Mark your calendars!
Weekly Draws
A few of our member establishments have a weekly draw. These are open to all players regardless of skill level and QCDA membership. There are usually a few QCDA members at each draw if you do have questions.
